Our carriers use great caution and care in transporting your vehicle, and a full inspection is completed at both pickup and delivery, but the following preparations can help ensure that damage does not occur to your vehicle.

Vehicle Washing

In order to expedite origin inspection, please present the vehicle to Automoving Online in clean condition. This allows for quick and fair inspection of your vehicle prior to shipment.

Keys & Keyless Entry Devices
Automoving Online requires that all keys and keyless entry devices be provided for your vehicle.

Fuel Level
Fuel levels should be reduced to approximately 1/4 tank in all tanks of your vehicle.

Alarms
Alarms should be turned off. If there are special instructions required to start a car to disarm an alarm, please let our Automoving Online and our carrier driver know. Automoving Online is not responsible for drained batteries as a result of an alarm that has not been turned off.

Luggage Racks & Bike Racks
Non-permanent luggage, bike, or ski racks should be removed.

Weather
Vehicles should be prepared for the new climate conditions. This may include changing or ading engine coolant, transmission oil, and other fluids. Automoving Online is not responsible for damage caused as a result of Acts of Nature.

Windshield Damage
If your vehicle glass has nicks, scratches, chips, or cracks, or other conditions, Automoving Online will not be responsible for damage caused by such pre-existing conditions.

Antennas
Antennas should be lowered or removed. Temporary antennas such as cell phone or CB radios should be removed.

Truck Caps & Canopies
Truck Caps and Canopies on pickup trucks must be properly secured to the box of the truck to ensure safe delivery.

Spoilers
Spoilers, faring, air dams, or other low hanging items should be removed, or sufficient clearance assured, to expedite loading on the rail and truck ramps.

Personal Effects
All personal effects, and extra vehicle equipment including CD changers, tool boxes, and accessories should be removed from your vehicle (particularly critical for international transports).

Mechanical Problems
All mechanical issues, ie. failing brakes, starting problems, low batteries, or other potentially dangerous or debilitating conditions must be disclosed to Automoving Online and your carrier driver.
